Casimir Pulaski Memorial Recreation Area
Located within the 4000 acre George Washington Management Area, the
100 acre Pulaski Memorial Recreation Area is a "day use" facility
offering users a multitude of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
From the first class trout fishing in the spring, to enjoying a
picnic, a short hike, or a cool swim in the 13 acre Peck Pond in the
summer, to cross-country skiing on the 10 miles of groomed trails
into the adjacent George Washington Management area in the winter,
Pulaski provides year round enjoyment for all ages.

Reservations:
Reservations are required
for use of the Pavilion. Reservations are accepted on a
first come, first served basis, beginning in mid-April.
[Call for specific date]. Cost - $35/day.
Reservations are not needed for use of the picnic tables or
fireplaces. However, a Special Use Permit is required for
any group of 10 to 75 persons for all uses of the recreation
area other than use of the Pavilion. Special Use Permits are
available on a first come, first served basis beginning
January 1st for the upcoming year. There is no
cost for a Special Use Permit. For Permit applications call

hiking trails, 4 loop cross country ski trails, hiking,
fishing, & swimming.

Florescent orange requirements apply for all
users during hunting season.
The cross-country ski program depends on snow conditions;
trails close at 3:30 p.m. Call for conditions.
Life guards may not be available at all times.
The use of boats or any flotation devices in Peck Pond is
strictly prohibited.
